About Me

I grew up on the Great South Bay, Oakdale, NY and come from a family of boaters. I spent many days and nights on both the Bay & Fire Island. I moved to Southwest FL in 1977, and returned after my Honorable discharge from the USCG in 1992.

I have cruised up and down the East coast and Caribbean by sea. I snorkeled and dove in Guantanamo Bay, (by far my best underwater experience), California, the Florida Keys and Jamaica.

My boat and ship handling experience ranges from a 19' Caravelle to 378' United States Coast Guard Cutters and many in-between during a decorated tour in the US Coast Guard.

My incredible wife, Joan, of 34 years and I are avid boaters. She also loves to camp, (which makes her a great RV Rep). She has received Customer Service Awards from the USCG, JCPenney, Montgomery Wards, and Great Western Bank. Joan loves to swim, hike, boat, volunteer, and kayak. She volunteers at the Cape Coral Animal Shelter and Historical Societies. We both support local charities.

I lived in NY, Tennessee, New Jersey, (USCG boot camp), and Joan is from Illinois. We have lived in California, Colorao, Massachusetts, South Carolina, and of course, Cape Coral, but we have always considered SWFL home.

When not on the water, you can find us enjoying music at most waterside restaurants in SWFL, (Cape Harbour being our favorite), right along with our 2 dogs-both rescues.

As an avid boater who knows that the Journey is the greatest part of the destination, and where you never have to hear, "Are we there yet?" assists me in helping you find the perfect boat for your family and you. Since I have lived in SWFL since the 1970's, and Joan since 1992, and through our travels, we know the types of boats and RVs that are best suited for wherever you plan to call "Home".

I have been a Florida Licensed Yacht and Ship Sales Representative since 2015 and Joan has been licensed since 2018 and we have over 5 Million in Sales in Boats, Yachts and RV's. Joan is also a Notary Public.
