It's easy working with an expert throughout the process.
After making an offer, a deposit has been received and a price is agreed upon, we recommend an inspection and trial run.
Buy anywhere in North America as transportation services are readily available.
Just like a real estate agent, we work for you. Tell us your budget and a few other important parameters and we will go to work, searching the country for the perfect RV that suits your needs. Your Pop Consultant will provide recommendations, and if desired, we'll send you emails with new advertisements matching your needs.
While we require that all offers be in writing, a deposit is not necessary until the seller agrees to the offer price and terms. This is because the seller could come back to you with a slightly higher counteroffer that you may choose to accept. We will inform you immediately if the seller accepts your offer, and that your deposit is due to bind the sales agreement. For recreational vehicles costing under $100,000, a deposit of $1,000.00 is required and for recreational vehicles costing over $100,000.00, a deposit of $2,500.00 is required. Your agreement will indicate the amount of deposit required to hold the RV until closing has been completed and ownership is transferred to you.
While escrow services have been around for decades, never before has the value been so apparent. Pop is dedicated to ensuring that both sellers and purchasers have the maximum protection against fraud. Since our founding in 2015, we have built a solid reputation as an ethical and responsible manager of customer funds. We securely send and receive an average of 1,400 wires / month. We've completed more than 20,000 transactions and we've never had a complaint filed against our license. We have collaborated with hundreds of lenders of both local and national brands to arrange loan payoffs, obtain loan approvals, and collect ownership paperwork in accordance with individual institution requirements. Whether you are a customer or a lender, we are happy to answer any questions that will help to facilitate a successful sale. You may reach us at (888) 761-7011(888) 761-7011 extension 3, or closingservices@popsells.com.
We suggest a series of steps to ensure you know what you're buying and are satisfied with your purchase. One of these steps is to hire a local inspector to conduct an inspection. It's a right you have, which is fundamental in our Purchase & Sales agreement, and we suggest you exercise it.
To maintain our independence and ensure you receive an unbiased report, we cannot select an inspector for you. We can provide a list of the three closest accredited inspectors to the RV, or a link to a list of all accredited inspectors in the state. Once you have selected an inspector, simply tell us his/her name and we will coordinate the inspection.
Pop receives a fee from the advertising seller if and when the seller has successfully sold their RV. As a buyer, however, the ONLY cost to you from Pop is a closing fee of $495. This cost primarily ensures any liens (such as the seller's bank loan) have been paid off, and covers the cost and liability of holding deposit and funds in a separate, secure escrow account. Your assigned Closing Advocate will prepare all required documentation, and handle the coordination of all activities from inspection & survey to delivery.
You can back out for any reason and have your deposit returned — this is a fundamental part of our purchase process established by our standard Purchase & Sale agreement. After your satisfactory inspection, and/or trial, and once you sign and return the final acceptance document, you either proceed with the purchase or forfeit your good faith deposit. You can think of this document as the final step to complete the purchase. You don't technically have to proceed but you would lose your deposit if you decided not to after signing this acceptance document.
After making a deposit into our escrow accounts, we email a receipt (as a PDF) recording the amount of funds received and purpose intended for those funds. This receipt is proof that Pop is holding these funds for the purchase of an RV or returned upon your request.
Our accounting procedures have been demonstrated to state regulatory authorities, who have heralded these procedures as the most accurate and transparent procedures ever seen in our industry.
That depends on the state in which you reside. In Florida, we are required to collect sales tax on transactions. We send the sales tax to the state on your behalf and supply you with proof that the tax was collected. If you are not in Florida, you'll still have to pay sales tax when you register your RV for use in your state — but we won't collect it directly.
Your Pop Consultant can help with arrangements to pick up your new RV. If you prefer or need delivery, you can contact a ground shipper to deliver it to your home. However, if you are taking the RV out of Florida, you need to do so within 30 days. You usually have 30 days in your home state to register your new RV.
Since its founding in 2009, Pop has emerged as the world's largest online, full-service, for-sale-by-owner marketplace for recreational vehicles. Pop has perfected bringing buyers and sellers together with a comprehensive suite of services required for successful transactions.
Unlike any peer-to-peer alternatives, Pop's full-service digital marketplace delivers fast, secure, and hassle-free results to buyers and sellers. Pop stands for “Paid on Performance,” meaning a seller does not owe any fee to Pop unless it delivers a buyer. This promise is the foundation of our brand and Pop stands behind this guarantee.
